Breakfast
At Château Saint-Joseph, we believe that a good day starts with a tasty breakfast. We favor the quality of the products, the historical presentation of the table because waking up in a castle must be a unique, historical experience and we want your taste buds and pupils to be transported to the 19th century.
Breakfasts are taken either outside or in the dining room with genuine Limoges porcelain. We offer bread baked at the château using organic flour or bread from a local artisan baker known in particular for the exceptional quality of his rye pies.
The jams are homemade, often with fruits and herbs from the castle garden. We have selected Maison Dammann Frères, whose luxurious blends of teas are a delight. We also offer freshly ground organic coffee beans and delicious Valrhona hot chocolate. We offer our guests eggs freshly laid at the Château, or those from Domaine St Louis. On request, we also offer you quality orange juice or apple juice.
No pastries here, because we do not want to serve you defrosted pastries and it is against our eco-conscious ethics to drive 30km round trip to bring back some quality ones. On the other hand, we are pleased to offer you, according to the mood of the chef, waffles, pancakes or homemade crepes.

Fancy a meal, in an exceptional setting, cooked with love, with local products, by our chef. We offer the table d’hôte of the Château by reservation only. On the menu are fresh, healthy and tasty starters, dishes that vary with the seasons and inspiration, and gourmet and delicious desserts.

Want to eat on the go with a good glass of local wine or accompanied by one of our local specialties, our house cocktail “Delicate violet” or “Mandarine 1879”? Our boards are the ideal answer for a meal without fuss. Your choice: the Black Mountain charcuterie board, the board of good local cheeses or the vegetarian one.
